Too often people read books and watch videos relatively uncritically. For example, when a Christian reads a book by an author who self-identifies as a Christian, the reader tends to give the benefit of the doubt to what the author says. More generally, when people read books or watch videos by members of their ideological "tribe" they tend to not question what is being said, whereas if the material is from the other ideological tribe they are hypercritical to the point of sometimes dismissing it out of hand.

We have chosen to open the website with an analysis of the book The Color of Compromise by Jemar Tisby. We feel this book has been read uncricitally by many Christians.
